The Erdman automated hot melt sealer is a high-performance sealing system designed specifically for the purpose of sealing Insulated Glass Units (IGUs). The system utilizes Graco 55 thermo-flow hotmelt pumps to apply hot adhesive to the edges of the glass panes that make up the IGU. This creates a tight and durable seal between the panes, ensuring that the unit remains airtight and thermally efficient.
The Erdman automated hot melt sealer is engineered to deliver consistent and precise application of the hotmelt adhesive to ensure optimal performance of the IGUs. With its advanced automation features and user-friendly interface, the system enables efficient and hassle-free sealing of IGUs. Additionally, the system also features an auto argon gas filling system, which can be used to fill the IGUs with an inert gas such as argon. This further enhances the thermal performance of the IGUs by reducing heat transfer through the unit.
