The Intermac VERTMAX was very well maintained and can easily perform boring, countersinking, and milling operations on a sheet of glass, and can also carry out grinding and polishing operations on the sheet’s edge. The machine features CNC control of the glass drilling programs and graphic visualization of the programs. It also has a self-learning feature that adjusts the drill bit length and controls the penetration depth according to the glass thickness, monitored by an anti-collision system of tools. With the tandem machining process, workpieces can be loaded and unloaded while the machine is operating, which enhances productivity.
